Hey everyone, I have been saving up for a while and I am seriously considering buying a villa in Dubai, something with a garden and maybe a pool. The market seems to be going up and up, and I am worried I am going to get priced out if I wait any longer. Anyone bought recently, how was the process?

The Dubai property market has been on a proper run for the last couple of years, especially for villas in communities like Arabian Ranches and Jumeirah Village Circle, and prices are definitely climbing faster than most people expected. The buying process is actually pretty straightforward compared to a lot of other countries, you put down a deposit and the paperwork moves fast, but the service charges can catch you off guard if you do not check them upfront because some communities charge a small fortune for maintenance. There are plenty of villas in Dubai for sale across different areas and budgets, you can browse what is on the market here https://atvir.com/uae/residential-complexes/villas .

Check the developer’s track record before you put any money down on an off-plan villa, some projects get delayed for years, and you are left paying for a house that only exists on paper.
