I’m genuinely getting motion sickness driving my own car. My 2016 Lincoln Navigator has always been a comfy cruiser, but lately at highway speeds above 110 km/h, it feels like the body is swaying side to side constantly, like I’m driving in strong winds even on calm days. I’ve checked the tire pressures, had the alignment done, and the air suspension seems to level fine with no warning lights. A mechanic friend suggested that the shock absorbers might be completely worn out internally, allowing the body to roll excessively over even small highway imperfections. I found a place that does expert Lincoln shock absorber replacement by Suspension Repair Dubai and they said they can test the old shocks on a dyno to confirm before replacing anything. Has anyone here had that constant swaying feeling on their Navigator or Expedition and fixed it with new shocks? I’m not sure if I should do just the rears since the swaying feels like it’s coming from the back, or all four corners at once. Also curious if the electronic suspension needs any reprogramming after replacement. Really don’t want to waste money on something that won’t solve the problem. Any advice would be amazing. Thanks.
