I’m considering switching to a wireless diagnostic tool because it’s more convenient, but I’m worried about connection stability. While browsing https://ecutools.eu, I saw several Bluetooth-enabled devices. Are they reliable enough for everyday use, or is cable still the better option?

Wireless is great for convenience, but quality really depends on the device. Cheap ones often lose connection, especially in real workshop conditions where there can be interference, metal structures, or multiple devices working at the same time. That can be frustrating if it happens during diagnostics, and even worse if the connection drops during something more sensitive like coding or adaptations. A good wireless tool should have a stable connection, fast pairing, and minimal lag — otherwise, the convenience isn’t worth it. That’s why it’s better to invest in a reliable device rather than just going for the cheapest option.
