ParticipantI was talking with friends recently about social media habits, and we ended up discussing whether checking someone’s recent followers is considered normal or creepy. Some people treat it like casual curiosity, while others think it crosses privacy boundaries completely. Honestly, I never thought much about it until I realized how often people actually pay attention to follow activity online. Social media makes people curious in ways that probably didn’t exist before. It also creates unnecessary overthinking in relationships and friendships sometimes. I’ve seen arguments start over something as simple as new followers appearing on an account. Do most people secretly check recent follows even if they pretend they don’t?

ParticipantAmazing info. One thing that’s helped me with new friendship more naturally is keeping track of new people I meet and what we talked about. There’s this tool I ran into called recentlyfollowed that sort of helps organize those new connections so you can follow up without feeling awkward. It seems to lean toward that part of the socializing process making introductions less stressful by staying on top of them. Definitely changed how I approach meeting folks in casual settings.
