I often read RPG reviews but still end up unsure whether the game is right for me. Many reviews list features and give a score, but don’t explain how the game really feels over long sessions. For RPGs, things like progression speed, combat depth, and quest structure matter a lot more than graphics alone. How do you personally evaluate reviews? Are there any sources where reviews feel more grounded and experience-driven?

For me, a good review explains who the game is for and who might struggle with it. I usually trust reviews more when the author openly mentions frustrations and limitations. Sometimes I browse https://dafy.site/game-reviews/ The reviews there are written from a player’s perspective, with attention to pacing and mechanics rather than just hype. It helps me understand whether I’ll enjoy spending a lot of time in that world or not.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I try to look for in reviews.
