      Hi everyone,

My doctor recently prescribed Omnacortil 40 mg Tablet as part of my treatment for a severe asthma flare-up, and I’d really like to hear from anyone who has used it. I understand that it contains Prednisolone, a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation and is commonly prescribed for conditions such as asthma, COPD exacerbations, allergic reactions, and autoimmune disorders.

If you’ve taken Omnacortil 40 mg Tablet, how effective was it in relieving your symptoms? Did you notice improvements in breathing, wheezing, chest tightness, or persistent coughing within a few days? How long were you advised to take it, and did your doctor gradually reduce the dosage before stopping the medication?

I’m also interested in learning about side effects. I’ve read that corticosteroids can sometimes cause increased appetite, trouble sleeping, mood changes, stomach discomfort, or temporary increases in blood sugar. Did you experience any of these while taking Omnacortil, and were they manageable?

If you were already using inhalers or other medicines for asthma and COPD, did your healthcare provider continue those medications along with Omnacortil? Were you given any advice about diet, staying active, or avoiding infections while taking the tablet?

I know every patient’s experience is different, so I’m not looking for medical advice—just honest personal experiences. It would be helpful to know how the medicine worked for you, whether it controlled your symptoms effectively, and if there were any practical tips that made treatment easier. Thank you in advance for sharing your experience.
