ParticipantHello everyone,
My doctor recently prescribed Budamate 400 Transhaler, and before I begin using it, I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have firsthand experience with this inhaler. From what I’ve learned, it contains budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation in the airways. It is commonly prescribed for the long-term management of asthma and may also be included in treatment plans for certain people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Since this is my first dry powder inhaler, I’m curious about how easy the Transhaler device is to use. Was it difficult to learn the correct inhalation technique? Did your healthcare provider demonstrate how to use it, or did you figure it out after a few attempts?
I’m also wondering how long it took before you noticed improvements. Did it reduce wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, or nighttime asthma symptoms? I understand this medicine is intended for daily maintenance rather than immediate relief during sudden breathing attacks.
I’ve read that rinsing the mouth after every dose is recommended because inhaled corticosteroids can sometimes lead to oral thrush or throat irritation. Has anyone experienced these side effects? Did rinsing your mouth help prevent them?
For those who have used Budamate 400 Transhaler for several months, has it improved your overall asthma or COPD control? Have you experienced fewer flare-ups or been able to carry out daily activities more comfortably?
I’d also appreciate hearing about any other side effects, such as hoarseness, sore throat, headache, or cough. Were they mild, and did they improve over time?
I’m simply looking for practical advice and real patient experiences before starting treatment. Thanks in advance to everyone willing to share their thoughts.
