During late afternoon commutes, the sun hits the side windows at an awkward angle and makes longer drives tiring. Has anyone added tint mainly to reduce glare while keeping the car looking fairly normal from outside?

Late-day driving was the reason I started looking into tinting, not the appearance of the car. I tested a moderate shade first because I still wanted clear visibility at night and did not want the glass to look too dark. After checking a few real examples, car window film felt like the right balance for cutting glare without changing the whole style of the vehicle. The cabin became easier on the eyes during longer routes, and passengers noticed the softer light before they even mentioned the outside look.
