So I just finished art school, painting is my thing, but commissions are slow right now and bills don’t care about creativity. I applied for a caregiver gig and somehow landed an interview. Freaking out a bit, how do I prep for this without any medical background on paper?

They already saw your resume and still called you in, so don’t psych yourself out about the art degree, lean into it. Caregiving is mostly about patience, reading people’s moods, and noticing small details, skills you use every time you paint a portrait or mix colors. For the sit down part, they will probably ask scenario based questions like how you handle a confused patient or what you do if someone refuses to eat. You can find solid breakdowns of these common questions in various nursing interview guides at this site https://roundlyhq.com/blog/ .

Prepare one story about a time you handled a stressful situation calmly, even if it was just a gallery opening going sideways. Interviewers eat up real life examples way more than textbook answers.
