Headed to Canada for a work contract next month and a buddy warned me that half the betting sites I use back home will just show a blank page or a geo-block message once I land. I have no clue how the local rules work or if there is a way to keep my accounts running while I am there. Anyone dealt with this?

What you are running into is the provincial licensing wall, most provinces only let you play on their own regulated platforms and block international operators at the ISP level. The operators themselves also run geo-checks and kick you out based on your IP, so even a VPN can be hit or miss if the site has aggressive fingerprinting. The simplest fix is finding a working bet mirror that the operator maintains specifically for restricted regions, you can grab an updated link list here https://betclone.com/mirror.shtml .

Stick to desktop browser access instead of the mobile app while you are sorting this out. Apps often pull your GPS location straight from the phone hardware, which a mirror domain cannot mask, and that blows your cover instantly no matter what link you use.
