Anyone know a fun way to learn about crypto without the jargon?

I’ve been trying to get my head around crypto for months but every explainer I find either drowns me in technical jargon or assumes I already know the basics. Is there actually a resource that makes this stuff accessible without being condescending? Something that doesn’t feel like homework?

I had pretty much the same question about mining, because it seems interesting, and it feels like I might even enjoy it, but getting into mining these days is very difficult and expensive. At the same time, if you just Google it, you get articles written in super complicated professional language. Someone recommended the RollerCoin free sol faucet to me, which turned out to be a play-to-earn project or a mining simulator, and that gives you a chance to clearly understand how all of this works.
