Lead generation services that set up appointments?

I am a real estate agent and signed up for a paid service that promised to set up an appointment and handle the follow up. I took their training, stayed active in the program and followed the coaches advice. The results were disappointing. Just a couple of poor sessions and then they introduced new refund policies that I was not aware of when I joined the program.
Just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences with these types of services? Or has anyone actually found one that worked as promised?
