Fixing Dead First Impression

My page gets decent reach, but the first few posts visible on the profile have almost no engagement. That creates a terrible first impression for new visitors. It’s strange because my newer posts perform much better. How can I fix this imbalance without deleting half my feed? I’m trying to make the profile look cohesive.
