If your Dyson V6 keeps dying or won’t hold a charge, it’s probably the battery. Doesn’t mean you need to toss the whole vacuum though. If everything else still works fine, getting a new battery can fix it.

You don’t have to buy a new Dyson V6 battery either. There are good third-party batteries out there that cost way less and work just as well. Some even last longer. Just make sure you’re buying from a store with solid reviews and a warranty.

I replaced mine with a third-party one, and it runs great now. No need to drop a few hundred bucks on a new vacuum when a decent battery gets the job done. Unless your motor’s shot or the whole thing’s falling apart, a battery swap is all you need.

Simple fix, saves money, and keeps your vacuum out of the trash.
