I love this design....I think it is one of my favorites.....This is the second one that I have colored and I wanted to do something different with it......I had it copied on medium gray color cardstock and used that as the color of the face although I lightly colored over it with some light and medium grey color pencils, then a little black in the grayscale areas......I used complimenting colors for the leaves and put some light gray in the mane and that one white streak, which gave it come contrast.....then I outlined everything with gel pens although that is hard to see in the photograph! This one was fun to do!

They are! the first one I did, I colored it as the regular colored lion with shades of green leaves….My granddaughter decided that she wanted that one, so it’s hers now! !
