1. When and why did you start coloring?

I started coloring in September 2018 when I was looking after my mom. She is 79 and I am 47. My reasons are actually a bit too personal to share. I am sorry.

2. What are your favorite designs to color?

I have so many coloring pages at home already and if I can download again I think why don’t you look there for more. I like grayscale designs a lot.

3. What are your favorite coloring tools?

I usually color with watercolor pencils because you can easily blend in colors with each other and they are nice and soft to use, And I have lots of muscle diseases, so it’s more comfortable for my hands to color with them.

 4. What is your perfect coloring atmosphere?

I color all alone, it’s my time and I treat it like some kind of spiritual practice.

5. How do you choose colors for your artworks?

I just have a color in mind. And I a have a sheet under my drawing and look if the color really fits there, but because it’s my coloring page it is most of the time correct. So basically I decide on what I want and go for it without holding back.

6. What would be your advice to beginner colorists?

Don’t quit too soon because you have to practice and see what happens first. Even if your colors don’t match and you messed up the work, so what? You can download again and start over. But here’s what I do when I picture a finished drawing – I look at it for a while and the colors will pop up into my head eventually.

7. Why do you think more people should try coloring?

I think everyone should try it. It may not be your thing, but a least you gave it a shot. But don’t give up too soon even if something isn’t working out at first. Take your time.

8. How did you learn about Favoreads coloring club?

I was browsing the net for free adult drawings and there you were and I was hooked.

9. Why do you like coloring pages from Favoreads?

There are so many of them. I like grayscale because it teaches you how and where you must put your shadows.
