Honestly, it depends on what kind of job you’re aiming for. I got into a small ISP as a junior network guy mostly because of the MikroTik Network Associate certification, but it wasn’t the paper alone that did it. I had already been messing around with a couple of routers at home and could actually talk through basic setups in the interview.

If you’re going for a big company running Cisco or Aruba gear, this cert won’t carry much weight there. But smaller ISPs and local network shops that run on RouterOS love seeing it on a resume, since it shows you at least know your way around their setup without needing hand-holding on day one.

My tip is to pair the cert with some real practice on an actual router or even a home lab setup; even a cheap secondhand device works. Employers care more about whether you can fix something when it breaks than just passing an exam. CertBoosters has an exam overview for the MikroTik Network Associate path if you want to see what topics usually come up, worth a quick look before you start studying: https://www.certboosters.com/mikrotik/path/mikrotik-network-associate
