My doctor recently prescribed Budecort Respules 0.5 mg/2 ml, and before I begin treatment, I’d like to hear from others who have experience using it. From what I’ve learned, it contains budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation in the airways. It’s commonly prescribed for people with asthma and may also be recommended in certain cases of COPD to help improve long-term symptom control.

Since this medication is used with a nebulizer, I’m interested in learning how easy it is to incorporate into a daily routine. How long does each nebulizer session usually take? Did you find it easy to prepare the respules, and were there any tips that made the process smoother?

I’d also like to know how long it took before you noticed improvements. Did it help reduce wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, or nighttime asthma symptoms? My healthcare provider mentioned that this medicine works gradually and is intended for regular use rather than immediate relief during sudden asthma attacks.

I’ve also read that rinsing the mouth after each nebulizer treatment is recommended because inhaled corticosteroids may increase the risk of oral thrush or throat irritation. Has anyone experienced this? Did mouth rinsing help prevent these issues?

For those who have been using Budecort Respules for several months, has it improved your overall asthma control? Were you able to reduce flare-ups or breathe more comfortably during daily activities?

I’d also appreciate hearing about any side effects such as hoarseness, sore throat, cough, or mild headaches. Were these temporary, or did they continue during treatment?
