  Hey everyone, I want to set up a spot in my garden where I can paint canvases outside when the light is good. My old bistro table wobbles like crazy every time I put any pressure on the brush, and I am worried about spilling water or paint on something that cannot handle a bit of mess. What kind of outdoor setup actually works for this without being precious about it?

  For painting outside, you need a table with a solid, flat surface that does not rock on uneven ground, and chairs that are comfortable enough to sit in for a couple of hours while you work on a piece.   Someone in my life drawing group swears by a folding aluminium table from a camping store, super light to move around the garden, and she just lays a piece of hardboard on top for a smooth painting surface. When the session is done, the whole thing folds flat against the shed wall.
