I’ve had my 2014 Jeep Wrangler for a few years now, and I’ve started doing more serious off roading in the desert and going to Jebel Jais. The stock brakes are fine for daily driving, but I’ve noticed that after a long downhill descent, they start to fade and feel mushy. I’m considering upgrading to slotted rotors and more aggressive pads. I don’t want to spend a fortune on a big brake kit, but I’m willing to pay for better quality components. Has anyone here upgraded their Wrangler’s brakes for better heat dissipation and off road performance? I’m wondering if slotted rotors make a noticeable difference or if I should just stick with good quality blank rotors and better pads.
