Hey everyone! I wanted to share my experience because before I made the move, I spent weeks searching forums looking for real opinions — not just sales pitches.
Two years ago I downsized from a traditional house to a residential park home and honestly it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The running costs are significantly lower, the community atmosphere is genuinely warm, and the homes themselves are far more spacious and modern than most people expect.
One thing that really impressed me was how smoothly everything is managed through the Elite Parks management system — from maintenance requests to site fee payments, it keeps everything organised and stress-free. No chasing people down, no confusion.
A few things I wish I’d known before buying:

Site fees vary a lot — always ask what’s included and whether they increase annually
Insulation and heating in modern park homes is surprisingly efficient
Resale value is something worth researching in your area before committing
Pet policies and guest rules differ between parks, so read the agreement carefully

The lifestyle suits me perfectly — quiet surroundings, low maintenance, and friendly neighbours. But it’s not for everyone, especially if you need to be close to a city centre.
Has anyone else made the switch from traditional housing? Would love to hear your stories or answer any questions from those considering it!
