Guys, so Baku is on the list for this autumn and I’m already thinking about how to get around properly. Tours feel too restrictive and public transport only gets you so far. Anyone looked into baku motorcycle rental as a practical option for a visitor? How’s the traffic situation and are the roads outside the city worth exploring on two wheels?

Baku traffic takes some adjusting to but once you’re out of the center it opens up nicely. The roads heading toward the Absheron Peninsula are genuinely great on a bike. Definitely worth it if you’re comfortable riding in unfamiliar cities.

Azerbaijan is one of those places that pleasantly surprises you as soon as you venture off the beaten path. Rental a motorcycle in Baku gives you access to stretches of coastline and rural areas that most tourists don’t even visit and that’s where, to be honest, the most interesting things are found. You can also have a great ride right in the city once you get used to the local traffic conditions. I think it would be helpful for you to check out this resource before your trip https://getrentacar.com/en-US/motorcycle-rental/azerbaijan
