Hi everyone! Where do you think the gaming industry is heading? I’m interested in what new technologies can affect the way we play. VR and cloud gaming are already emerging, but what’s next? Maybe games will move entirely to the cloud, and powerful hardware won’t be needed?

I think the future really is in technologies that make gaming more accessible to everyone. For example, streaming and cloud gaming are trending now, where there is no need to buy expensive consoles or computers. It’s especially interesting how American streamers and their approaches to content are changing player preferences. This applies not only to the choice of games, but also to the ways in which they interact with content. If you’re interested, check out the article https://www.gamespace.com/all-articles/news/how-american-streamers-changing-consumer-behavior-and-gaming-trends/ about how American streamers influence consumer behavior and trends in the gaming industry. It perfectly explains why many companies are starting to adapt to the tastes of the streamer audience. It seems that the industry will follow them in the coming years!

Interesting thoughts, guys! I also think that the future belongs to interactive and more personalized games. For example, artificial intelligence technologies can make games more “smart” and adaptive, when NPCs will react to the player’s actions almost like real people
