      I read about the Zim buyout yesterday. It’s such strange news, isn’t it? I wonder how it will affect small and medium-sized logistics partners. Will they gain or lose their positions? What do you think: is this a genuinely profitable merger, or just speculative activity?

      I also saw this news, and I would say it makes sense. Of course, there’s no official confirmation yet, so it’s just market speculation for now, but strategically, it could be beneficial. I also read on the Gettransport blog that, if the Zim Shipping buyout https://blog.gettransport.com/news/zim-ray-shipping-merger-rumors-market-analysis/ does happen, pooling resources could lead to new routes, a more efficient fleet and better rates. On forums, I’ve seen that some traders are sceptical, but major analysts are hinting at the potential of the deal.
